The Lakeland women's soccer team was picked to finish 11th by Northern Athletics Conference coaches in the NAC preseason coaches' poll.
The Muskies received 42 points. Last season, Lakeland finished 12th, posting a 4-15 overall record.
Four-time defending conference champion Aurora was picked to finish first. The Spartans received 156 points and 10 first-place votes.
The Muskies open their season Sept. 1 at North Central College in Minnesota and will also spend Labor Day weekend there. Their home opener is Sept. 9 against Mount Mary College.
