Lakeland won it's night cap at the Rhodes Invitational as they defeated Williams Baptist 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 29-27).
Freshmen Amanda Dillman and Anna Faust led the way offensively for the Muskies with 15 and 10 kills respectively. Lakeland setters Brittany Reindl and Kristine Raeder combined for 37 assists. Reindl had 21 while Raeder tallied 16.
Sophomore Taylor Daus led the Muskies defensive efforts with 13 digs followed by Faust with 12, Hannah Sholten with 11 and Reindl with 10.
With the win Lakeland improves to 5-17. The Muskies continue play in the Rhodes Fall Classic Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. against Bethel (Tenn.).
