Bormann, Petit, Laubusch earn NAC honors

Lakeland College junior golfers Gary Petit (Monroe, Wis.) and Ben Laubusch (Germantown, Wis.) earned spots on the All-Northern Athletics Conference men's golf team. Head coach Tyler Bormann was named the NAC Coach of the Year, his first NAC recognition.

It's the third consecutive year that Petit has earned All-NAC honors. This season, he won the Marian University Golf Invite at Whispering Springs golf course in Fond du Lac, Wis. on Sept 11-12. He shot a two-day score of 152 and helped Lakeland win the invite. Petit also placed third at the NAC Tournament at Whistling Straights- Irish Course on Oct. 10-11 with a two-day total of 154.

Laubusch earned his first All- NAC recognition after an impressive showing at the NAC Tournament. Laubusch finished tied for 13th with Lakeland's Brian Balistierri (New Berlin, Wis.) and posted a two-day total of 164.

Bormann was named NAC Coach of the Year after leading the Muskies to a tie for third place with Benedictine University in the NAC Tournament and a first-place finish in a NAC sanctioned Marian University Invite. Bormann is in his third year as Lakeland's head coach.
