SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - Isaac Roberson is ranked eighth in the nation at 157 pounds in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Brute - Adidas Individual Rankings.
Despite missing the team's first three duals and tournaments, Roberson garnered the ranking after displaying his dominance at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invite on Dec. 4. He was crowned the champion at 157 after beating two NCAA national qualifiers.
Roberson earned decisions over 2010 NCAA national qualifier Justin Skillings of St. Olaf College and Virgil Pope of MSOE, a 2009 qualifier.
Roberson looks to continue his success throughout the season, and has a goal of a bid to the NCAA Division III Nationals in La Crosse, Wis.
