LaLuzerne hits triple, Muskies lose third-straight

TUCSON, Ariz.- The Lakeland College softball team dropped its third-straight game of the Tucson Invitational with an 11-2 loss to Denison University (Ohio) Monday night.

The Muskies (0-3) were lead by Jenny LaLuzerne (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) who hit a triple in the first inning. Freshman pitcher Sam Janc (Worth, Ill.) followed LaLuzerne's triple with a double of her own to score a run. In the fourth inning Janc was walked in on a double by Erin Henk (Hoopston, Ill.).

After a solid start, Lakeland couldn't hold on to the lead giving up sixth runs in the third inning and another five in the fourth inning.
