Early errors cost Muskies

TUCSON, Ariz.- Three errors in the first inning cost the Lakeland College softball team four runs and the eventual 9-5 loss to Husson University (Mass.) Thursday night at the Tucson Invitational.

The Muskies (0-8) were led by junior Leah Sheahan who scored two runs and hit a double while going 2-for-4 from the plate.

Erin Henk had a solid night and went 2-for-3, while Sam Janc and Sam Rieder went 1-for-3.

Lakeland resumes action on Friday, March 18 in its last two games at the Tucson Invitational against North Central College and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
