Lakeland winless in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz.- The Lakeland College softball team struggled at the plate and suffered an 11-1 setback against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Friday night at the Tucson Invitiational.

The Muskies (0-10) faced tough competition in Tucson, but couldn't find a way to win.

Brittni Peterson had an RBI to lead Lakeland.

The Muskies return to action on Thursday, March 31, as they host Ripon College in a nonconference game. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
