The Lakeland College track and field team competed in its first meet of the year at the Eastbay/Pointer Invitational at UW-Stevens Point last Saturday.
The Muskies had 11 athletes participate and will look to improve as their season continues.
"It was good to be able to compete," said Lakeland head coach Peter Hahm. "As we face more competition, we can become more comfortable in our abilities and begin to build a winning program."

The Muskies take to the track again on Saturday, Feb. 26, as they travel to Naperville, Ill., to compete at the NAC Indoor Championships at North Central College. The meet begins at 10:30 a.m.
