The Lakeland men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in double overtime at Concordia on Saturday, Oct. 1.
Just 13 minutes and 32 seconds into the game freshman Ted Cormier placed a shot into the upper part of the net to give Lakeland the early led.
It would not take Concordia long to respond as they punched a goal in during the 36th minute thanks to a Travis Moulton shot.
Neither team would be able to score again as the defense and goalkeepers took over the game. Senior Joe Silverberg registered eight saves for the Muskies, while Steve Huenink tallied five for Concordia.
The Muskies will next be in action on Tuesday, Oct. 4 when they take on LMC foe Wisconsin Lutheran at Muskie Field on the Lakeland campus.
