Muskies fall to host UW-Whitewater

The Lakeland College women's volleyball team lost it's second match at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational on Friday.

The Muskies (0-2) lost to tournament host UW-Whitewater in straight games, 3-0 (14-25, 16-25, 21-25)

"It was exciting to see the girls come together and play some volleyball," said Lakeland coach Jon Staabs. "The girls started to play together and do the little things, but UW-Whitewater made some runs and our serve-receive fell apart."

The Muskies continue play in the UW-Whitewater Invitational with a double header tomorrow, with a 9 a.m. match against Wheaton College followed by a 1 p.m. contest against Alma College.
