Senior forward Scott Kress scored both goals in the Muskies 2-0 victory over host Marian College Saturday, Oct 8 to remain unbeaten in LMC play.
Kress was able to get the Muskies on the board in the 23rd minute when sophomore Zach Buchman was able to feed him the ball.
Two minutes and 45 seconds into the second half Kress, who recorded all five Muskie shots on goal, scored an insurance goal for Lakeland.
Senior keeper Joe Silverberg made four saves on the day as he tallied his third on the season and the 11th in his career, extending his own school record.
The Muskies improved to 3-0-2 in LMC play, and 4-5-3 overall. They host UW-Platteville on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. at Muskie fields.
