Faller named NAC - D3football Defensive Player of the Week

Lakeland College senior safety Tony Faller has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and was named Northern Athletics Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance during the week of Sept. 19-25.

Faller garnered the awards after recording 10 tackles, two tackles for a loss of 19 yards and one sack for 18 yards in Lakeland's 32-0 win at Rockford College. He added three pass breakups, one interception for 19 yards and he blocked a punt.

The Oostburg, Wis., native will look to lead the Muskies to a Homecoming victory this Saturday against Wisconsin Lutheran College. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

Faller was also named one of Lakeland's Muskies of the Week.
