This Week in Women's Soccer

The Lakeland College women's soccer team has a busy week with three games.

The Muskies begin play today in a makeup game against North Central College in Naperville, Ill. The team then travels to Milwaukee, Wis., tomorrow to take on the Raiders of MSOE in Northern Athletics Conference action. Lakeland rounds out the week hosting Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday.

The team is coming off a 1-1 record in last week's play. The Muskies snapped a seven-game losing streak en route to a 3-1 win against Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Oct. 13. Senior Dana Schmidt led the Muskies with two goals, both assisted by senior Kristi Borts. Senior Lindsay Rogers chipped in with a goal. Lakeland suffered a 4-0 loss to first-place Aurora University on Oct. 15 in the college's homecoming game.
