Seniors Ben
Koepsell, Allison Davis and Tony Faller were named Northern Athletics Conference Players of the Week for their performances last week.
Koepsell garnered the weekly award after tallying his first collegiate hat trick against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Oct. 22. He also chipped in with an assist as the Muskies posted a convincing 6-2 win over the Warriors.
The Cedar Grove, Wis., native helped the Muskies record a 2-1 record in last week's play including a 2-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, a 2010 NCAA Division III semi-finalist. He also netted a goal against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Oct. 19. Koepsell was also named one of the college's Muskies of the Week. He has scored 21 career goals.
Davis earned the weekly award after leading the women's volleyball team to a 3-0 record last week. The Sheboygan, Wis., native led Lakeland with 42 kills and just six errors in 82 attempts for a .439 hitting percentage. She also recorded five digs and had four blocks.
Her biggest game of the week came on senior day, Saturday, Oct. 22, as she had 11 kills and zero errors for a .440 hitting percentage. She also added two blocks as the Muskies clinched a NAC berth in a win over Rockford College.
Faller garnered the weekly award for the second time this season as he led the football team's defensive efforts.
The Oostburg, Wis., native recorded a game-high 13 tackles in a 21-7 loss to Concordia University Chicago on Oct. 22. Faller also had one tackle for loss, one fumble recovery, one interception and one pass breakup, and he added 29 yards on two kick returns.
