Renon recognized in two preseason rankings

Junior wrestler Ryan Renon has been recognized in two preseason rankings by d3wrestle.com and the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Brute-Adidas Individual Ranking.

The Wrightstown, Wis., native is ranked ninth on d3wrestle.com and is ranked 10th in the nation by the NWCA at the 165-pound weight class.

Renon is coming off an impressive sophomore season where he compiled a 22-9 record. He captured his second-straight Northern Wrestling Association Championship and placed fourth at the Great Lakes Regional in 2011 and 2010.

Renon will look to earn a bid to the NCAA Division III Nationals on March 9-10 in La Crosse, Wis.
