Two members of the Lakeland College women's soccer team garnered All- Northern Athletics Conference honors as the league announced the 2011 All-NAC Women's Soccer team Wednesday.

Freshman Taylor Jahnke, a native of Howards Grove, Wis., received Honorable Mention All-NAC, while sophomore Liz Pritzl, a native of Cedar Grove, Wis., represented Lakeland on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Jahnke was the backbone of the Muskies' defense and shut down her opponent's top offensive threats. She started all 19 games for Lakeland.

"Taylor was a sold defender for us," said head coach Tony Pierce. "She covered a lot of ground for us and played every minute of every game. She was a work horse."

Pritzl played an integral role in the Muskies' midfield and was a vocal leader on the field. She will look to lead a young team next season.

"Liz is one of the hardest working and positive players on the field," said Pierce. "She brings up everyone's level of play by her persistence and competitiveness."
