This week the Lakeland College women's basketball team opens the 2011-12 season with a college tradition - the Lakeland College Tip-Off Tournament. The Muskies open the weekend on Friday at 6 p.m. against Beloit College. Wartburg College faces the University of Wisconsin Stout in the second game, which tips at 8 p.m.

Last season, the Muskies fell to the Buccaneers, 64-54. Dana Henrichs led all scorers with 15 points on five of 12 shooting. Both teams will look to get their new head coaches off to a strong start.
