The Muskies (1-1) begin NAC play tomorrow against Maranatha Baptist Bible College for a 7 p.m. contest in Watertown, Wis. The team travels to River Forest, Ill., on Saturday to take on South Division foe Dominican University.
Lakeland is coming off a 94-83 non-conference win over Beloit College on Nov. 22. Junior forward Jake Schwarz led all scorers with 33 points and enters Tuesday's game 19 points away from the 1,000-point milestone. Senior point guard Josh Regal chipped in with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Sophomore forward Justin Ward recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Last year, the Muskies rolled past the Crusaders in both of the team's matchups, but suffered an 83-62 setback to Dominican.
