Schwarz named NAC Player of the Week

Junior forward Jake Schwarz has been named Northern Athletics Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance against Beloit College on Nov. 22

Schwarz scored 33 points and snagged nine rebounds to lift the Muskies (1-1) past Beloit, 94-83. He shot 63 percent from the floor, including 3-of-6 from the 3-point arc, and was 10-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Defensively, Schwarz added three blocks and a pair of steals in the non-conference victory. The Sheboygan, Wis., native needs 19 points headed into tomorrow night's game at Maranatha Baptist Bible College to become the 38^th player in Lakeland history to reach 1,000-point milestone.
