Lakeland Men�s Soccer Loses Road Game to Whitewater

The Lakeland College men's soccer team was defeated by the UW Whitewater Warhawks 3-0 in Whitewater.

Whitewater got on the board early as Stuart Loe scored off an assist from Nathan Hass in just the 2nd minute of action. Hass would add a tally of his own in the 15th minute to take the score to 2-0 heading into halftime.

Hass added the 3rd goal in the 60th minute, knocking home a rebound from an initial save by Muskie keeper Joe Silverberg (South Bend, IN).

The Muskies upped their quality of play in the second half, recording 8 shots on goal to 7 for Whitewater. For the game Whitewater out shot the Muskies 14 to 11.

Lakeland net minder Silverberg gobbled up 11 saves on the day.

The Muskie men will be back in action Saturday, October 2nd at 3:30 pm when they open their conference schedule versus Wisconsin Lutheran at the Milwaukee Sport Club.
