Gordon and Grimsrud shine at NAC Indoors

The Lakeland College track and field team scored points for the second straight meet at the Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday.

The Muskies were led by junior sprinter and high jumper Vashia Gordon (Green Bay, Wis.) who scored 3.5 points for Lakeland, placing fifth in the high jump with a final jump of 1.41 meters. Freshman Dylan Grimsrud (Sheboygan, Wis.) also scored three points for Lakeland, finishing sixth in the men's 800 meter run with a time of 2:04.78 a new personal best.

Lakeland will return to the track on Saturday, April 14, as the Muskies compete in the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational, their first outdoor meet of the year. Events begin at 9 a.m.
