The Lakeland College men's and women's track team continued to improve at the St. Norbert Invitational on Saturday.
The men's team finished in a tie for 11th with 11 points, while the women finished 10th with eight points.
Junior Christine Deitte (Fond du Lac, Wis.) led the women with a third place finish in the 10000 meter run, earing six points, while Danielle Holzer, a freshman from Plymouth, Wis., earned the other two points for the Muskies.
On the men's side, freshman Dylan Grimsrud (Sheboygan, Wis.) scored four points with his fifth place finish in the 800 meter run, while Ryan Graves, a junior from Munising, Mich., earned two points with a seventh place finish in the 10000 meter run. The 4X100 and 4X400 meter relay teams earned three and one point respectively.
In the field events, freshman Patrick Johnson (Pontiac, Mich.) scored one points with an eighth place finish in the triple jump.
Lakeland returns to action on Saturday, April 28, as the Muskies travel to Ripon, Wis., to compete in the Private Colleges of Wisconsin Championship. Events are set to being at 9 a.m.
