After recording a 3-0 mark in play last week, the Lakeland College men's basketball team returns to the court this week with two games.

The 9-3 Muskies take on rival Marian University in Northern Athletics Conference action on Wednesday and host Northland International University in the team's last non-conference game on Saturday.

In the most recent Division III statistic report released by the NCAA, Lakeland ranked 11th in scoring offense (87.6 ppg), fifth in 3-point field goals per game (10.5) and 14th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.29). Junior Jake Schwarz ranks third in scoring (27.6 ppg), is tied for sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (50.0) and ranks 24th in free throw percentage (89.3). Senior Josh Regal is fifth in assists per game (6.6).

After a 76-67 win over Rockford College on Jan. 7, Lakeland is now tied for first place in the NAC North Division with Edgewood College (4-1) and Concordia University Wisconsin (5-1). The Muskies will look to stay atop the North Division against Marian on Wednesday.
