Lakeland to host sixth NWA Tournament

Lakeland College is hosting the sixth Northern Wrestling Association Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Todd Wehr Center Fieldhouse.

Concordia University Wisconsin, Knox College, Maranatha Baptist Bible College and the Milwaukee School of Engineering will venture to Lakeland and join the host Muskies in hopes of winning the team and individual NWA championship titles.

Lakeland has claimed the last four NWA team titles and has its sights set on earning its fifth straight. Last year, senior Miguel Luis and junior Ryan Renon earned individual titles at the 174- and 165-pound weight class, respectively.

Competition begins at 9 a.m. and doors open to the public at 8:15 a.m. Admission to the tournament is $5 for all ages.
