This week in track and field

This week, the Lakeland College track and field team will travel to Stevens Point, Wis., to compete in the UW-Stevens Point Eastbay Indoor Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Last week Lakeland competed in its first event of the 2012 season, with several athletes making their collegiate debuts. Senior Joey Salazar was the top finisher for the Muskies, taking 10th in the 60 meter dash with a personal record of 7.30.

The events on Saturday begin at 9 a.m.
