This Week in Softball: Rivarly Week

The Lakeland College softball team continues Northern Athletics Conference play this week with a two-game road trip before returning home on Sunday.

The Muskies (10-8, 5-1 NAC) hit the road for the first time since the Tucson Invitational on March 10-17 to take on the Sabres of Marian University on Wednesday. Lakeland then travels to Mequon, Wis., to take on Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday before finally returning home on Sunday to host Dominican University.

The Muskies are coming off a 5-1 week, including a 3-1 mark in NAC play. The team's only loss came to Edgewood College in game two of an April 7th doubleheader. The Eagles snapped Lakeland's eight-game win streak as they capitalized on a few Muskie errors.

Lakeland looks to stay atop the NAC this week, but will face stiff competition in these three opponents. Concordia Wisconsin is third in the NAC with an 8-2 record, while Marian follows with a 6-2 record.
