The Lakeland College softball team continues its 2012 campaign this week with three Northern Athletics Conference games and one non-conference contest.

The 14-10 Muskies hit the road tomorrow to take on the Raiders of the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a 3 p.m. start. Lakeland hosts Ripon College in non-conference action on Thursday at Memorial Park in Howards Grove, Wis., before taking a two-game weekend road trip.

On Saturday, the team heads to Rockford College and rounds out the week on Sunday at Concordia University Chicago.

The Muskies are coming off a 4-2 week, including splits with Concordia University Wisconsin and Dominican University on April 14 and 15, respectively. Sophomore Chelsea Gile led Lakeland past Marian University on April 11 and smacked two home runs on the week. Gile led the Muskies at plate with a .353 batting average.

In the most recent NCAA statistical report, Lakeland ranked second in triples per game (.78) and junior Heather Haeflinger ranked fourth in triples (seven). Junior pitcher Erin Henk ranked 18th in saves (three).
