Women's basketball Alumni Game part of Homecoming festivities

Former players from the Lakeland College women's basketball team participated in an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 6 as part of the 2012 Homecoming celebration at the college.

The White team defeated the Navy squad by a score of 64-55. Kristi Thill-Bachar (Lakeland College Class of 2006) led the White team with 15 points, while Jenna Boehm ('07) added 14 points. Peggy Keiper ('08) took game high honors in scoring with 20 points to lead the Navy team.

Graduates from as far back as 1989 participated in the game. A total of six members of the Lakeland College Athletics Hall of Fame were part of the game, including Stacy Urbas-Pieper, Dawn Machtig, Lynn Sixel, Ann Harteau-Bitter and two of this year's inductees, Jill Dewane and Stacey Remington.
