Baseball Camp 2012

Lakeland College's Baseball Camp

The Lakeland coaching staff is excited to be hosting the 2012 Spring Training Camps we are looking forward to teaching your athlete the skills necessary to compete in baseball in a fun and educational manner. The camp philosophy is to provide solid fundamental baseball skills in a relaxed atmosphere. We will cover all phases of the game regardless of skill level, and allow the necessary repetition time to see improvement in every skill. The camps will focus on hitting and other offensive skills that will prepare the camper for competition, as well as a session on pitching. We will also cover the basics mechanics, fielding your position and preparing your arm for the high school and college season.

What to Expect from our Camp

Location/Equipment

The camp will be held in the Wehr Center on the Lakeland College campus in Sheboygan. Each camper is responsible for bringing indoor shoes, baseball bat and glove.

Meals

If you are participating in both camps, pizza will be provided for lunch.

Insurance

Each camper must have their own medical insurance. The Lakeland College Baseball Spring Training Camps will not be responsible for any medical or dental insurance. A medical release statement must be signed by a parent or guardian before a camper is allowed to participate in the Lakeland College Baseball Camp. Each camper's health and protection will be our first and foremost concern, however, as with all sports, there are dangers inherent in participating. There will also be an athletic trainer present while the camp is in session.
