Outlook: Last week, Benedictine had the unfortunate result of helping Concordia-River Forest end its 19-game losing streak. The Eagles were shut down offensively as they have been throughout the season, only averaging 13.4 points per game. They have had trouble passing the ball, which is apparent by the number of interceptions they've thrown this year, a total of 12. They rely on a mix of different runs and backs. However, if things continue, the Eagles will have trouble moving the ball against the stingy Lakeland defense.

Lakeland enters the game with three straight dominating victories and the chance to finish 8-2, their best record since a 10-0 season in 1997. Last week, the Muskies shredded the Greenville defense for 588 total yards, with 381 of those being gained on the ground. Lakeland handed the ball off a stunning 61 times to various backs and almost had two rushers gain 100 yards. Lakeland ranks first in the conference in total offense and second in total defense. Expect the Muskies to continue their dominating play as their season comes to a close after this one.

Coaches: Muskies' coach Jim Zebrowski is 7-2 in his first year with the program. Tom Mitchell is also in his first season as head coach for Benedictine and is 2-7.

Last Year: Lakeland was victorious at home last season against the Eagles, 27-13.
