Lakeland College Super Hoopers Basketball Camp

2008 Dates for the Super Hoopers Camp Have Been Set!

What: Becoming a successful basketball player at the highest level requires the development of sound offensive skills. Without the proper foundation for young athletes to build on, bad habits are formed that can take years to correct. Here at the Super Hoopers Basketball Camp, we stress offensive fundamentals from all offensive skill sets: dribbling, passing, shooting, and moving without the ball. To aid in implementing these techniques, a variety of instruction will be used (games, contests, and video work).

Dates:

CHECK-IN: Wednesday, July 23, 5-6 p.m. Kruger Hall

CHECK-OUT: Friday, July 25, noon.

Eligibility:  The camp is open to all boys and girls going into grades 3-8.

Cost:

• $165 Residential - Campers will be provided 4 meals (3 meals Thursday, breakfast Friday) while participating in the camp.
• $110 Commuter - Camp sessions: Wed. 6-9, Thurs. 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. (lunch/dinner), Fri. 9 a.m. - noon.

• A variety of games, including 3-on-3, shooting games and shooting technique instruction from college coaches and players

We invite parents and siblings to attend any time during camp sessions.
