Muskies Feel Winter Chills; Fall to Benedictine

The Lakeland College Men's Basketball team was as cold as the weather in the
second half of their 62-58 loss to Benedictine University on Saturday, December
13.
The Muskies trailed 33-35 at halftime, but shot just 29.6 percent in the second half and hit only two of their 15 three-pointers in the game.
Senior guard Cory Nickel led all scorers with 26 points and also retrieved five rebounds. Nick Zeck was the only other Muskie player in double-digits with 11.
The Eagles were led by Matt Harrison and Bryan Uselding, who scored 13 and 10 points, respectively. Uselding also had a game-high five steals.
The loss drops the Muskies to 3-6 overall. For their next game, Lakeland will
host Rockford College on Saturday, December 20 at 4 p.m.
