Muskies Suffer Setback at Concordia
Jan. 27, 2004

Just when the Lakeland College Men's Basketball Team finally gets to .500 on the season, conference leader Concordia had to come along. On January 27, Ryan Wietor and the Concordia Falcons stymied the Muskies climb to the top of the conference by a final score of 58-70.

Despite 20 points from Cory Nickel, 13 from Nick Zeck, and 10 from Ryan Hiir, Lakeland was unable to stop Wietor, who scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Muskies were unable to take advantage of their chances at the free throw line, shooting just 53.3 percent from the charity stripe.

With the loss, Lakeland dropped to 4-3 in conference and 9-10 overall.
