MEN'S GOLF PLACES FOURTH, RAUWERDINK ALL-CONFERENCE

The Lakeland College men's golf team placed fourth this past weekend at
the Lake Michigan Conference tournament held at Grand Geneva Resort, in
Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
The Muskies shot a team score of 329 Sunday on the Highlands course, followed by a 332 Monday on the Brute course. Lakeland's team score of 661, was good for fourth place behind Marian, Concordia, and MSOE.
Individually the Muskies were led by all-conference selection Dan Rauwerdink. Rauwerdink shot a 78 on day one, followed by a 81 on the second day, good for 5th place individually. The rest of the team was made up of Freddie Fitchen (166), Tony Reese (167), P.J. Webster (175), and Carl Eriksson (176).

The Muskies are coming off of a meet in which they
set the school record for combined score with a 309. The
same five golfers competed last season and earned a fourth place finish
with a combined weekend score of 672.

Sheboygan, Wis - The Lakeland College Men's Golf team set a record Tuesday
at Quit Qui Oc Golf Course in Elkhart Lake when they shot a combined team
score of 309.
The Muskies, who took fourth place in the event, were led by medalist Tony Reese who shot a 71, and Dan Rawerdink with a 77. The rest of the team was Freddie Fritchen (78), Carl Eriksson (83), and Jason Wetenkamp (88).
