Kress Named LMC Rookie Of The Year For Men's Soccer

Scott Kress, a freshman forward from nearby Kiel, WI, was recently named the Lake Michigan Conference Rookie of the Year for men's soccer.

Kress, a goal-scoring machine, led the league in points with 16 on 8 goals. He averaged 2.67 points per game and 1.33 goals per game in six games played in conference.

Overall, Kress scored 17 goals and had 4 assists on 75 shots this season in 19 games. The Muskies finished 8-9-2 overall and 3-1-n in the LMC, good for third place.

"I'm really proud of Scott and his outstanding season," said head coach Marc Colwell. "We expect great things from him throughout his career."
