Men's Soccer Earn All Conference Honors

The Lake Michigan Conference has just released the All-Conference teams and post-season awards for men's and women's soccer. The awards are voted on by the head coaches of the LMC. For a complete list of the team please check the Lake Michigan Conference website.

Leading the way for Lakeland were senior midfielder Carmelo Teran (1 goal, 2 assists in LMC play) and freshman forward Scott Kress (8 goals), who were both named to the First Team. Furthermore, Teran was named the Player of the Year and Kress was named the Rookie of the Year (see separate articles).

Sophomore back Ryan Holl (3 assists) was the only Muskies named to the Honorable Mention Team.

Lakeland dominated the All-Rookie Team with five selections. Besides Kress, forward Tyler Opichka (1 goal), midfielder Mike Gorak (1 goal), forward Dave Meister (11 shots on goal) and midfielder Trey Summers (2 shots on goal) earned recognition.
