Joe Julkowski enters his first season as interim head men’s volleyball coach. 

He helped lead the Lakeland men's volleyball team to a national championship in 2008 and helped the Muskies reach the national title match in 2007 and 2010.

Julkowski is a three-time NCVF All-American and has earned Midwest 10 and Wisconsin Volleyball All-Conference honors. He was named team MVP in 2009 and 2010. He holds career records in kills (1,905), digs (1,133) and service aces (271). He also holds several season records including kills (502) and aces (68).

He is a former coach of Side Out VBC (SOVA) based out of Carol Stream, Ill., and also a former coach of the Go Fish club team based out of Lakeland College. 

Julkowski graduated from Lakeland in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is currently working on his masters of arts in counseling and resides in Sheboygan, Wis.

Jon Weir returns to Lakeland men's volleyball for his fourth year on staff as assistant coach.

Having played collegiate volleyball at UW-Oshkosh in 2001 and 2002, Weir took his playing experience with him to the coaching world. Weir has been the varsity head coach at New Holstein High School since 2008. Prior to that position, he had served as the varsity assistant at New Holstein from 2002- 2005 and freshmen coach from 2006-2007.

Weir graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in radio/TV/film and is a self-employed videographer.
