Mayo had 23 points and 11 rebounds in just 19 minutes of play and the Muskies won third third game in four days. Lakeland improved to 7-8 overall and is 5-3 in the NAC, while Dominican dropped to 0-13 overall (0-5 in conference).
Lakeland never trailed in the game, jumping out to a 12-0 lead in the first four minutes. Leah Eisner (Jr.-Stevens Point, Wis.) scored eight points early on and Mayo added four more, a sign of how the rest of the afternoon would go. Lakeland led 39-18 at halftime and built its lead to 55-24 with 12:56 to play on a free throw by Lexie Greenheck (Fr.-Oostburg, Wis.). The Muskies would substitute freely the rest of the game, with 11 of 12 players in uniform scoring and all 12 players playing at least 11 minutes.
Greenheck and Liz Morrison (Fr.-Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) both added six points off the bench, and Aimee Thrune (Jr.-Prairie du Sac, Wis.) paced the team with five assists. The Muskies shot 43.7% for the game (31-of-71) and had 21 offensive rebounds.
