About the "Play With Grace" Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Tournament

Welcome to Lakeland College, host of the seventh annual women's basketball "Play With Grace" Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Tournament! Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs. The proceeds from the "Play with Grace" Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Tournament will be donated to the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund (SCCCF). We thank the participants, sponsors and fans for their support of this year's tournament.

The Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund

The Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund (SCCCF) is dedicated to improving the health, well being, and quality of life for individuals and families of Sheboygan County who have been diagnosed with cancer or a disease of the blood.

The SCCCF provides supportive services and financial resources for various life-enhancing expenses that are typically not covered by traditional insurance or other community resources. These services include a night or weekend getaways to help a cancer patient, spouse, or family to maintain a positive outlook on life, access to services and devices that will assist a cancer patient in reducing or coping with limitations related to their disease or treatment, personal care (cosmetics, massage, manicure, hair styling, etc.) to help enhance the self-image of cancer patients and financial assistance for treatment-related burdens and expenses such as transportation and medication not covered by insurance.
