July 17, 2004

Sheboygan, WI - Marie Reynolds, a forward from Fond du Lac, has committed to play soccer at Lakeland College next season.

Reynolds capped an outstanding four-year career at North Fond du Lac High School with a stellar senior season in which she scored 32 goals and dished off 12 assists. For her efforts, Marie was selected first team all-conference and was named the East Central Flyway Conference Player of the Year.

Reynolds led North Fond du Lac to a conference and sectional championship this season. North Fond du Lac advanced all the way to the Regional Finals before bowing out to last year's state champion Ozaukee high school.

As a junior, Reynolds led the conference in scoring with 26 goals and was second in assists with 13. Reynolds was named captain each of the last three years.

Head Coach Marc Colwell commented, "Marie is very quick and can get behind defenses with her speed. She has been one of top goal scorers in the area and is going to have a big impact on our program at Lakeland during her career."
