<p><b><font color="006699">Women's Tennis Knocks Off Marian 7-2 </font><br>
  Sept. 13, 2003</b> <br>
  The Muskies Women's Tennis Team defeated the Marian Sabres 7-2 Saturday morning 
  in Fond du Lac. Lakeland picked up their first win of the season to move to 
  1-1 overall and 1-0 in the Lake Michigan Conference. Marian dropped to 0-4 overall 
  and 0-1 in LMC play. </p>
<p>The Muskies were led by #1 singles player Hanaka Murakami as she dominated 
  Marian's Kim Vigness, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-0. Murakami also won her 
  #1 doubles match with partner Heidi Heling against Sabres Kim Vigness and Erin 
  Paul, 8-4. </p>
<p>Other singles winners for the Muskies were Andrea Schuchart (6-4, 1-6, 6-2), 
  Meggan Saak (6-1, 2-6, 6-4), and Sarah Wall (6-3, 6-2). Lakeland swept the doubles 
  with wins from Murakami/ Heling (8-4), Hentges/ Wall (8-5), and Schuchart/ Saak 
  (9-8 (7-4)). </p>
<p>The Muskies next match is at Concordia, WI on Sept. 16th starting at 3:00 pm.
