Schreiber Earns Third Straight Coach Of The Year Honors For Volleyball
Nov. 25, 2003

Women's Volleyball Coach Chad Schreiber was selected as the 2003 Lake Michigan Conference Coach of the Year. It is the third straight year that Schreiber has won the award.

This season Schreiber guided the Muskies to a 21-16 overall record and a 12-0 mark in the LMC. It is the second straight year Lakeland finished conference play unbeaten.

Schreiber also led Lakeland to their second straight NCAA tournament appearance where they fell in five games to UW-Whitwater. The Muskies nearly advanced as they fell 16-14 in the fifth game.

Schreiber is the all-time winningest volleyball coach at Lakeland with a 165-140 overall record in nine seasons. After rebuilding the program he has guided Lakeland to six straight 20-win seasons, the past three conference championships, and the last two conference automatic NCAA bids by winning the end-of-season conference tournament.
