Melissa Braaksma was named to the All-Tournament team. UW-River Falls was the tournament champions with a 3-2 win over Elmhurst. Four out of the five teams that participated won their respective conferences last season.

"We came into the tournament hoping to prove we can compete with the top teams and I think we did that. When we played to our identity we were right there. The difference in the losses was a couple bouts of self-destruction. That is why we play this tough schedule. We hope to be ready to play our best volleyball at season's end."
