Scholarships

Referral Scholarship

If you recruit a new camper to enroll at camp you are eligible to receive $25 off your tuition. Your recruit must not have attended Lakeland College's Music Camp before. Only one person may receive the referral scholarship and your name must be listed on the new camper's registration.

Essay Scholarship

Ten winners of a $50 scholarship will be selected in an essay-writing contest. Interested students should write a 250-word essay answering the following: "What is the value of a music program in a high school or middle school curriculum?" Submit your essay to the Camp Registrar at MusicCamp@lakeland.edu by May 31.

"Special Instrument" Scholarship

Tenor and bass vocalists, tuba, euphonium, bassoon, baritone sax, double bass, and viola players are offered $50 scholarships based on need.

Sheboygan Youth Symphony Scholarship

Students who are members of the Sheboygan Youth Symphony are eligible for a $50 scholarship.

Lakeshore Youth Chorale Scholarship

Students who are members of the Lakeshore Youth Chorale are eligible for a $50 scholarship.

Honors Recital Scholarship

Campers who attend this year may compete in the Honors Recital to win a full scholarship for next year. The first place winner of the Honors Recital is awarded a full scholarship and the second place winner is awarded a half scholarship.

Camper of the Week Scholarship

The student selected as Camper of the Week will win a full scholarship for next year.

Wisconsin High School State Honors Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble Scholarship

Congratulations on outstanding performances in Madison! Because of your accomplishment, we'd like to offer members of the Wisconsin High School State Honors Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble a 50% scholarship for the Lakeland College Music Camp.
