Music Camp at Lakeland College - Got the music in me!

Scholarships

$25 -$400 scholarships

For each new camper you get to enroll, you receive $25 off your tuition. "New camper" is someone who has never attended LC Music Camp and who actually attends the week of camp. There is no limit to the number of new campers you can refer up to free tuition for yourself. Only 1 person may receive the referral scholarship and your name must be listed on the new camper's registration.

$50 scholarships

10 winners will be selected in an essay-writing contest. Contestants will write a 250-word original essay answering the following: "How can music make a difference in the world?" Submit your essay to Charlie Krebs, Camp director at krebsc@lakeland.edu by June 15. The top two essays will be read at the awards ceremony by the authors.

$75 scholarships

Students who play tuba, euphonium, bassoon, baritone sax, string bass, and viola, along with tenor and bass vocalists, are very rare at camp but vital to round out their respective ensembles. Because of this scarcity, we are offering $75 scholarships to campers who play these instruments or sing these parts.

Full Tuition scholarship

Campers who attend this year may compete in the Honors Recital and win a full scholarship for next year. Likewise, the student selected as Camper of the Week will win a full scholarship for the following year's camp.
