Lakeland College is a popular meeting place for schools and other organizations to host workshops and fairs.

Lakeland College itself organizes a number of workshops and fairs to benefit members of the community including a Humanities Fair to introduce different aspects of the humanities to area high school students and a Church Music workshop to benefit area church musicians and pastors.
