Entrance Counseling

Federal regulations require first-time student loan borrowers to participate in an entrance counseling session before funds can be disbursed. You may complete this requirement on the Internet; our office will be notified electronically upon completion of the counseling. Click Here to participate in loan entrance counseling

Master Promissory Note (MPN)

To receive a Federal Stafford Student Loan at Lakeland College, you must be able to answer YES to the following statements:

1. You have been admitted to Lakeland College.
2. You have applied for federal financial aid through the FAFSA form and the results have been received by Lakeland College.
3. You have received a financial aid Award Letter which included a federal Stafford loan.
4. If you are a first-time borrower at Lakeland College, you must complete Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling before any loan proceeds will be disbursed. Click Here to complete loan entrance counseling.

Exit Counseling

Federal regulations require students who have borrowed through a federal loan program to participate in an exit counseling session. You may complete this requirement on the Internet by clicking here
