Giving - posted on 1/26/2006

The newly established 1862 Society hosted it's first event on Wednesday, January 18, 2006. To begin the evening, The 1862 Society members and guests enjoyed casual conversation while visiting the Senior Art Exhibit in the Bradley Fine Arts Building. Dinner was served on stage prior to a private recital by Dr. Arthur Johnson, Lakeland College Pianist and Assistant Professor of Music.
An English Afternoon Tea will be the next 1862 Society event. This elegant event will be celebrated on Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 14, 2006.
