The group will travel throughout the central and southern regions of the country to meet with many of the Malawians who have graduated from Lakeland. During the 13-day adventure-scheduled for May 9-21, 2012-participants will spend seven nights in Malawi and two nights in Cape Town, South Africa. An optional tour to one of Africa's finest game parks, South Luangwa Valley in Zambia, concludes the trip. The accommodations on this trip are comfortable, but rugged. Base cost of the trip is $5,500 and includes airfare, several meals, all lodging and all ground transportation and transfers. The game park visit is $600 additional. Space is limited to a maximum of 10 guests. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 for the trip must be received by Jan. 15, 2012, with the balance paid by Feb. 15, 2012. Lakeland College Blasters Classic golf tournaments Moose Woltzen Cup - Mike Devaney Cup - Millennium Cup

In 1987, the first Blasters Golf Tournament was held to raise money for student scholarships. Twenty-five years later alumni and friends of the college continue to come together to raise money for student scholarships. Your commitment to this annual event has given the college an opportunity to award over $78,000 in student scholarships.

As you can see, the 2012 Lakeland College Blasters Classic Golf Tournament is a special time to connect with alumni, friends, and our community. Lakeland College celebrates its Sesquicentennial year with the All-College Reunion, June 21-24, and Blasters is a part of the excitement. Make plans to join us on Friday, June 22 for the event of the summer!
