- ABOUT LAKELAND

Lakeland offers a wide variety of academic programs - something of interest for everyone. Haven't decided on a major yet? Not sure what you want to do? Not to worry; 70% of incoming freshman choose "undecided" for their major. In many ways, this allows them to experience a variety of different Lakeland coursework before committing to a field of study.
In addition to a wide variety of majors, Lakeland also offers a good selection of minors. Many students choose to round out their degree by selecting one or two complementary minors to make themselves more marketable after college.
Lakeland's undergraduate day curriculum is organized around six academic divisions. Students will major in one or more disciplines, usually within one Academic Division. Through the college's General Studies requirements, however, students will experience some coursework in all of the divisions.
