Humanities
The central role of the Humanities Division in Lakeland's curriculum is to transmit the Western cultural heritage, in both its historical and contemporary forms, to each new generation of students. Programs in this area make it possible for students to confront the central issues of cultural identity and the dilemmas of life which intrigue the members of all the varied cultures of our globe.
